Vintage Scheurich-Keramik 206-22 West German Pottery Vase - Mid-Century Modern Ceramic
£29.95
An authentic vintage West German pottery art ceramic vase, sourced directly from Detling Antiques Fair. Handcrafted by the iconic manufacturer Scheurich during the mid-century era, the base features the circular raised "Scheurich-Keramik" maker mark alongside the model number "206-22" and "W. Germany" stamp.
This beautiful baluster-form cabinet vase showcases a striking, layered glaze combination. It transitions from a dark, glossy espresso brown at the flared rim down into a creamy off-white central band with sublte foaming lava details. The lower body is finished in a heavily speckled, textured ochre-terracotta matte glaze, providing a fantastic tactile contrast to the slick upper elements.
It is in excellent vintage condition with an immaculate finish, displaying absolutely no chips, cracks, or restoration. A highly decorative piece of mid-century design that adds classic retro character to any modern rustic or eclectic interior display.
