Antique I.F.S. Ltd Sheffield Silver Plated Toast Rack - Edwardian Style Desk Letter Organizer (c.1920)

An exceptionally elegant antique English silver-plated (EPNS) 4-slot toast rack manufactured by the prestigious silversmiths Israel Freeman & Son Ltd (I.F.S. Ltd) of Sheffield and London. Crafted in the traditional Edwardian style, this handsome piece features five smoothly arched dividing bars and a prominent central loop handle. The entire frame is supported by four classic, spherical ball feet that elevate the piece beautifully. While originally designed for the breakfast table, its perfect scale makes it a highly sought-after, functional desk accessory for organising letters, incoming mail, or fine stationery.

The lower side bar is clearly stamped with the maker's workshop hallmark: "I.F.S. LTD" followed by "ENGLAND".

Condition Report:
This rack is in very good antique structural condition and retains a beautiful, bright silver lustre. True to its age and authentic historical use, the frame shows light surface micro-scratches and minor localized tarnish/cleaning scuffs nestled near the wire joints and underneath the base bars. The ball feet are completely level, the frame is perfectly aligned, and the solder joints remain entirely solid. Please review the detailed close-up photographs to assess its scale and finish.
