Vintage WMF German Silver Plated Engraved Drinks Tray - Small Serving Salver

This charming vintage circular silver plated drinks tray is a beautiful example of mid-century European home dining presentation ware. Sourced at the prestigious Ardingly Antiques Fair, this elegant smaller tray features an intricately engraved central pattern showcasing stylized floral blooms and sweeping leaf roundels.

The perimeter of the tray is framed by a heavily embossed, highly detailed border of repeating flowers and scrolling foliage that lends a lovely classical depth to the piece. The reverse retains its authentic, raised and embossed vintage German "S" foil label, attributing this quality unmarked piece to a mid-century German export line, most likely from the renowned workshops of WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik).

The tray presents in great vintage condition, with the decorative embossed border remaining bright, crisp, and reflective. Reflecting its genuine domestic service and age, there is some honest light surface wear and faint cleaning swirls across the polished flat face of the platter, which blends into an attractive, authentic patina. It remains structurally straight, flat, and completely ready for display or immediate use.
