Vintage Scheurich Keramik Geometric Wave Glaze Vase - Mid-Century Modern Statement Ceramic (Form 268-30)

A highly attractive and imposing mid-century modern West German art pottery statement vase, manufactured by the renowned Scheurich Keramik factory in the 1970s. Standing at a substantial 30cm tall, this robust cylindrical vase features a beautifully proportioned collared rim and a lustrous, high-gloss finish. The body showcases a striking, stylized Art Deco inspired geometric Greek key/zig-zag wave pattern that wraps rhythmically around the entire form, rendered in a beautiful contrast of rich ochre-brown tones and creamy glaze borders.

The piece retains its original plum-colored foil "scheurich" factory label on the shoulder. The underside displays a heavy application of the factory's signature gloss glaze, obscuring the embossed model shape and size numbers (268-30) underneath.
