A truly spectacular mid-century modern West German art pottery vase manufactured by the renowned Scheurich Keramik factory. Standing at a substantial 32cm tall, this striking floor or statement vase is dressed in a magnificent, deep cobalt blue glaze featuring a highly glossy drip finish that cascades into darker, almost midnight-blue tones towards the base. Its bold, tall cylindrical silhouette and architectural rim make it an absolute showstopper for an atomic, retro, or eclectic interior display.
The base is clearly embossed with the classic Scheurich style model number "205-32" alongside "W. GERMANY".
Condition Report:
This vase is in very good vintage structural condition with a highly reflective, lustrous glaze. True to its age and authentic pre-owned nature, there is one exceptionally tiny flea-bite nick to the glaze near the base rim, which is clearly pointed out in the detailed close-up photographs. This minor imperfection does not affect the display value or integrity of this stunning statement piece. Please review all photographs carefully to appreciate the rich glaze depth and condition.
