Sourced at the renowned Sunbury Antiques Market, this globular vase belongs to Poole Pottery's celebrated "Volcano" collection, featuring their innovative and dramatic "Living Glaze" technique.The design is instantly recognizable for its collision of fiery high-gloss tones.

Layers of bold red, orange, and sunshine yellow slip cascade down the upper body before melting into rich, organic drips of emerald green and deep volcanic ash gray. Because Poole's Living Glaze reactively fuses in the kiln during the firing process, every piece matures with completely unique surface coverage.

The base features the fully molded "Poole, England" backstamp alongside its original teal blue paper retailer label reading "Hand painted in Poole, Dorset". The incised initials on the base identify the individual studio artist who painted this specific piece.
