Vintage Khaki Green Metal Cash Box with Key - Made in England Industrial Document Tin

An authentic vintage industrial metal cash and document box, sourced directly from Detling Antiques Fair. A rarer variant compared to the traditional black and gold pinstriped models, this piece features a rugged, original factory khaki olive-green enamel finish. The interior rim is clearly stamped with the authentic "Made in England" origin mark.

The heavy-gauge sheet metal box is fitted with a sturdy, polished brass swing carry handle on the hinged lid. The interior remains completely intact, featuring its rare, original removable partitioned coin and token tray with an integrated metal lifting handle, alongside a hinged side compartment. Crucially, the secure front lock is fully operational and comes complete with its original working metal key.

It is in good vintage, characterful condition with an excellent industrial patina. The olive enamel finish shows genuine historic surface wear, including minor paint chips, edge scuffs, and light scratches consistent with decades of practical office or shop-counter use.
