Vintage Cavalier Silver Plated Round Gallery Tray - Small Chased Drinks Salver

A highly elegant vintage English silver-plated (EPNS) round drinks tray manufactured by the well-known British silversmithing brand Cavalier. This small-scale presentation salver features a beautifully pierced vertical gallery rim with a classic beaded top border. The face of the tray is decorated with a deeply chased and engraved scrolling foliate pattern that wraps around an unengraved circular central cartouche. It is a wonderfully compact size, making it perfect for holding a small decanter, a pair of cocktail glasses, or serving as a high-end vanity display platter.

The reverse features a polished finish and bears the clear stamped hallmarks for Cavalier, Made in England.

Condition Report:
This tray is in good vintage structural condition with a lovely bright mirror reflection to the main surface. True to its age and honest domestic use, the face exhibits some localized black pitting and tarnish spots nestled deep within the chased scrollwork patterns, as clearly detailed in the close-up photographs. The base shows light surface cleaning micro-scratches from careful handling over the years. The gallery wall remains perfectly straight and free from structural dents.
