Pair of Vintage Myott "Silhouette" Lidded Tureens - MCM Retro Fruit & Veg Patter

This listing is for a beautiful matching pair of vintage vegetable tureens from the iconic "Silhouette" range by Myott (Fine Staffordshire Ware) .

Produced in England during the late 1950s and early 1960s, this set is a perfect example of mid-century monochrome design. The crisp white earthenware is decorated with a striking black litho-print featuring stylized illustrations of onions, pears, and apples , topped with original solid black lids and matching handles.

Condition:

• Overall: Excellent vintage condition.
• Body: No chips, cracks, or major staining.
• Lids: Both original black lids are present and in great shape.
• Glaze: Bright and glossy (please see photos for any minor age-related crazing typical of Myott pottery from this era) - there is some light crazing to the glaze as shown in the pictures.
