Antique Solid Brass Elephant Figurine on Cast Savannah Base - British Made Barware Paperweight

A wonderfully tactile and substantial early 20th-century antique solid brass novelty figurine of a walking elephant, beautifully modeled with a raised trunk for good luck and detailed tusks. The elephant stands securely on an intricately cast, textured savannah-style grass base. This heavy, high-quality casting gives the piece a fantastic, premium weight, making it perfect for use as a decorative desk paperweight, a styling accessory for a vintage drinks trolley, or a statement piece for a library bookshelf display.

The underside of the weighted base features a dark, authentic foundry finish, secured with two period-correct simple slot-head screws. The lower rim is clearly stamped with the crisp historic maker provenance hallmark: "BRITISH".

Condition Report:
This figurine is in excellent antique condition with a fantastic structural feel. The solid brass has been lightly cleaned in the past but retains a gorgeous, authentic warm golden glow, accented by a deep, untouched dark green patination nestled within the detailed folds of the elephant's skin, ears, trunk, and the grassy textures of the base.
