Vintage Viners of Sheffield Alpha Plate Gallery Tray Floral Chased Drinks Salver

A high-quality vintage English silver-plated gallery serving tray from the renowned "Alpha Plate" premium line by Viners of Sheffield. This elegant round salver features a beautifully hand-chased surface decorated with an intricate repeating floral and scrolling foliage motif surrounding a plain central cartouche.

The tray is constructed with a classic pierced vertical gallery wall and a traditional gadroon/rope-twist rim edge. The base bears the full Viners corporate mark granted by the historic Cutlers Company.

Condition: In very good vintage condition. The silver plating is thick and intact with light surface polish marks from age. Free from deep scratches, repairs, or dents. There are some dark marks where the plate has been damaged, there is a slight kink to the gallery again shown in the pictures
