Description:

A classic Edwardian-style silver-plated entree dish featuring a removable twin-handle lid. This versatile piece is designed so the lid can be inverted and used as a second serving dish, making it perfect for dinner parties or holiday hosting.

The rim is finished with a traditional gadrooned (ribbed) border. Marked on the base with the "L&W Ld" hallmark for the renowned Sheffield maker, George Shadford Lee & Henry Wigfull.

Condition:

The dish is in good vintage condition. As is common with an item of this age, there is some visible wear and light scratching to the silver plate, particularly in the well of the dish. There are no major dents or deep gouges. There are some scratches to the lid as shown in the pictures.
