Vintage Italian Florentine Oval Handle Serving Tray - Mid-Century Gold Gilt & Yellow-Ochre Salver

A highly elegant mid-century modern vintage Italian Florentine oval wooden serving tray, manufactured in Italy during the 1960s. This piece features a beautifully shaped, scrolled rim with integrated acanthus leaf style handles at each end. The tray face is decorated with heavily embossed baroque-revival gold leaf scrollwork and a central geometric lattice medallion, all beautifully framed by a striking yellow-ochre border band. Lightweight and highly decorative, it makes an excellent addition to a Hollywood Regency style bar cart, a vanity table display, or as curated retro wall art.

The reverse features the classic unlacquered natural wood composition typical of authentic mid-century Florentine workshops.

Condition Report:
This tray is in good vintage structural condition with a lovely warm golden patina. As an authentic pre-owned mid-century item, it exhibits honest signs of age and wear, including light surface scuffs and areas where the white gesso plaster base shows through the painted and gilded finish, particularly along the raised edges, ridges, and handles. This wear enhances its genuine vintage appeal. Please review the detailed photographs to fully appreciate its character and finish.
